Black Country, Actually
The Black Country has a story to tell and a lot of it is sitting on mantelpieces, in display cabinets and at the back of cupboards.
Black Country, Actually is a community project exploring the decorative objects, craft traditions and cultural history of the region. It's built around the idea that the things people make, keep and treasure say something about who they are and where they're from.
The project is just getting started. What it grows into will depend on the people who get involved.
Object Club

Object Club is a monthly gathering for anyone curious about decorative objects with a Black Country connection. Bring something in - something made here, bought here, inherited here, or that just feels like it belongs here - and we'll talk about it. Where it came from, what it's made of, what it means.
